A small family business, Evansdale Cheese has been operated in the Evansdale district by the Dennison family since 1980.

Evansdale cheese is a boutique factory, producing cheese by hand with an annual production of around 50,000 kg.

A move to bigger and newer premises in 1998 saw an increase in cheese production and brought in a number of new cheeses.

Evansdale Cheese has won many awards, including 'The Supreme Champion Award for Cheese in New Zealand', 'The Auckland Royal Easter Show Supreme Award', and is proud to have provided a product which featured in Government House and has been served to the Queen.

While the mass producer wants standardised milk, Evansdale Cheese values the differences each day brings, as they bring with them the chance to make an even better cheese than the day before.
