Dear Friends,

Incredible - here we are after a long time. The Evansdale Cheese newsletter, March 2003.
Firstly a sincere promise to produce regular newsletters.

Secondly a promise to keep you informed about cheeses, the animals and the family.

Cheeses:
At present there are wonderful stocks of all four of our major cheeses. We are looking forward to the New Zealand Cheese Awards at the end of this month and are sure that we will do well. Milk supply is keeping up locally, but we worry about the dry conditions in the North Island. One good side of the lower payout to farmers is the lower price we pay for milk and therefore even with increasing costs, prices remain the same as last year.

New Products:
Sheep's milk Fetta. We have good supplies of excellent sheep's milk Fetta. Taste the difference! Feel the Texture! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

Quince Paste: Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!.... Tremendous. The ancient quince apple rendered into a delicious spread. Goes so well with Blues and Bries. We have made this over the past twelve months and have perfected a product which leaves me at a loss for superlatives. Try some with your next order.

Animals and Family:
All the animals are well. Pig is still in the paddock eating grass. Dogs are fine. Philip is still in love with Mary the cat. Ah, contentment. all the family is fine. Leslie is enjoying a spell in Cuba.
Ok, don't forget your EASTER ORDERS. Going away for Easter? Take a cheese with you. It will be remembered long after you have left.
