Mothers Day and Autumn
Dear Friends-
the next news letter to you all--
it is now autumn time- the cows are getting ready for that winter rest and then the calving in the spring time -- It is now that the milk is getting higher and higher in fat content as the volume reduces-
What does this mean-- --
This is the time of the year that we begin to make those wonderful hard cheeses for the winter time -- these are the ones that are full of flavour, that full the mouth with that extreme memory of youth when all cheeses tasted awesome , and now with age has come that added wonder of wine.!!!
It also means that the price of milk goes up !!!! but we keep to our prices through out the winter months.
MOTHERS DAY
This is the time that we in New Zealand honor the family and in particular MUM .
There are many gifts you can give your mother-- in fact almost anything goes-!! but we know here that over the years mothers enjoy a particular gift - that something special that means that not only have you thought of her but you have decided to give that to her --
Can I recommend to you a EVANSDALE FARMHOUSE BRIE or a SELECTION BOX .
These will have on them a special Mothers day gift card from you, and will be delivered to her on the Friday or Saturday of the weekend. (6th - 7th May)
To do this we must have your order by Monday the 2nd of May.
So we look forward to hearing from you
Home things -- the Education centre is rapidly nearing completion and we look forward to that starting in earnest in the next month-- and so more of that later.
Pig and dogs are fine- Cat -- Mary -- is excellent - she is in the house and she always looks forward to this time of the year as the little furries move from the outside to the inside!!!!
And yes, thank you for that wonderful support over Easter - We were over whelmed with your Easter orders -- I think all were sorted out-- Yes I know there are times that we have a problem with orders-- can I just say that we are getting better all the time!!
Thank you all, and we will hear from you for the Mothers Day Cheeses.
